Ceremony to Remember September 11, 2001

More than 320 people gathered at the Wake Forest Veterans' Memorial to honor the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Pictured at right are firemen, police officers and emergency service personnel from Wake Forest, Rolesville, Youngsville, and Falls Fire Departments, the Wake Forest Police Department and Rolesville EMS.

After the Wednesday night, September 11, 2002, ceremony many of the people attending placed individual candles of remembrance before the monument.
